In The Beginning

Memory 1

Hello everybody,

In the beginning, there is always an introduction to all things. I would like to dedicate my first memory to giving a rough description of who I am, and what this blog is going to be about.

Names are part of a first time meeting. Although I do have a name, to keep things simple, you can simply call me: P. I am just an average person living on this planet. Some may say I am more important than that, others may say I am worth less, however to me, I'm just like anybody else. I have hobbies, I have goals, I have friends. My character, and who I am could be deduced later from what I talk about in my future memories, but one thing I find that has become an important part of my life, and everybody else's life as well, is the memory itself.

As you may noticed, I started off this entry by listing it as a memory, I have several reasons for doing this. One, this sets up my blog in a natural manner, with clear headings and good organization. It will be easier in the future for me to reference a specific entry this way. Two, this allows me to look back at my past in the future and see the changes that have occurred. Life is all about change, without it we would still all be living in the stone age, perhaps not even exist. Third, and most importantly, I find that having memories will help a lot in life, just in general. The past, the future, and the present, questions are always asked everyday, they're always stored into our brain as a piece of memory, and unless we clearly depict these, we will never be able to recognize the meaning of any event that has happened, is happening, or will happen.

This is why every memory will deal with specifically one event that happened in my world. This could lead onto other stories, but the focus will most likely be something important that allows me to gather something from it. Regarding updating this, it will most likely be at least 3-4 times a week, if not more.

Today, let us dive into the thought book of P, and explore its vast universe.
